About Carola

Carola Stallenberg has studied piano as her major at the conservatory of Maastricht. Among others, she took lessons from Frederic Meinders. In 1982 she obtained her piano degree, certificate B for music education. During her studies she started accompanying violin, and later viola, singing, cello and multiple choirs. In addition, she participated in various performances. From 1992 onwards, Carola took several improvisation classes and later she started teaching “Music Therapy” classes at “Hogeschool Sittard”.

Between 1995-1997 she took an additional course “AMV” in order to enhance her skills in teaching children.

After moving to Den Hague in 1997, she devoted herself on teaching. Furthermore, she played in multiple concerts together with an ensemble of violists and woodwinds.

In 1999 she was hired as pianist for classes in eurhythmy at the “Vrije School” of The Hague.

Since 2008, she has played various works Bach and Mozart at concerts. In particular, she loves playing works from Chopin, which is her favorite composer. Besides Chopin, Bach and Mozart, Schubert and Brahms are part of her repertoire.
